In this roadmovie we are looking for traces of the Armenian genocide. The main character is the young Turkish-Dutch Ugur Üngör, who is doing historical research on the Armenian genocide. He encounters a book by Vahram Goekjian, who survived the racial murders and wrote a book about it. The grandson of Vahram, director Alex Goekjian, travels with Üngör. They travel together through the area where the Goekjian family lived for centuries. Director Kay Mastenbroek follows them with a second camera. He registers the tension between the filmcrew and the local authorities who are very uncomfortable with the research, but also the tension in the film team itself.
